Brand partnership development · Service 04 of 05

One campaign finds the creators worth keeping. This is how you keep them.

For brands that have run a campaign, know which creators worked, and want them next year on terms that don't start from zero every time.

Who this is for

Partnership development is the right service when you already know the names. The work is turning a booking into a relationship, with terms, dates and money agreed further than one post ahead.

What we handle

Five things a partnership has that a booking doesn't.

The choice

Which creators to keep, decided from the last report rather than from instinct: who moved the number you cared about, whose audience stayed, who was easy to work with.

The terms

One agreement per creator covering the year: how many pieces, at what rate, with what usage and exclusivity, and how either side leaves. Written once, not renegotiated per post.

The rate

Locked for the term in exchange for the commitment, so the second and third campaigns don't cost more because the first one worked.

The relationship

Someone on our side who talks to the creator between campaigns, so the next brief lands with a person who already likes you.

The renewal

Reviewed on a date in the calendar, with the numbers on the table, before anyone has to ask.

What you take away

A partnership, written down.

What the report says: three creators moved the number you cared about, link clicks, and kept the audience they brought. Two of them have been approached by a competitor since the launch.

What we propose: annual agreements with those three, eight pieces each across the year, rates locked at launch level, exclusivity limited to night serums, and a review in month 12 with the numbers.

What we need from you: next year's launch calendar as far as it exists, and whether the month-one restock is confirmed.

Renewal note

Three partners, twenty-two pieces delivered of twenty-four, two moved by agreement. Renew all three at the same rate: their combined clicks this year cost less per click than any single campaign did, and none of them took a competitor deal. One addition proposed for year two, from the spring shortlist.

What no partnership takes from you.

  1. 01

The exit. Every agreement has a way out for both sides, with notice, written in.

    OB
  2. 02

Approval. Every piece still comes to you before it posts. A partnership doesn't buy autopilot.

    OB
  3. 03

The choice to expand, or not. A good first year is a reason, not an obligation.

    OB
  4. 04

The creator's independence. They stay free to work with non-competing brands; we don't ask for more exclusivity than the money justifies, unless you decide you need more.

Questions

Before you send the brief.

How is this different from an ambassador programme?
Partnerships are a few relationships, each on its own terms, managed campaign by campaign. Always-on is a cohort on one charter, posting on a schedule all year. Many brands do the first for a year and build the second from it.
Can we start with creators we found somewhere else?
Yes, if you have the numbers. We'll ask for the last campaign's results before proposing terms, because the keep list is built from what happened, not from a feeling.
How long are the agreements?
Usually a year, sometimes two campaigns. Never open-ended, and always with a review date written in.
Do creators accept locked rates?
Most do, in exchange for guaranteed work and guaranteed payment: we hold each fee and release it on delivery, so a partner is never chasing an invoice.
What if a creator's audience changes, or they take a competitor deal?
The terms sheet covers both: a review clause on audience, category exclusivity where it's paid for, and the exit either side can use. You're never locked into a partner who has stopped being one.
What does it cost?
A fee per partnership for the term, on top of the creator's rate, not inside it. Renewals are re-quoted with the year's numbers on the table.
